Apple IPhone 14Pro Heavy News: New Titanium Design
Sep 13, 2021
On September 9th, Apple has announced that it will hold an autumn conference at 1 a.m. Beijing time on September 15, when it is expected to launch a new generation of iPhone 13/12s series models and other products.
Just one day after Apple officially announced the release of the new iPhone next week, the whistleblower @jon_prosser brought news about the iPhone 14 series.
He revealed that the 2022 iPhone currently has no bangs, and is expected to adopt a perforated screen design and use a brand-new titanium material.

In general, next year’s iPhone will have the following key points:
1. There are no bangs, instead a front-centered punch design, which is consistent with the forecast given by analyst Guo Mingchi;
2. A thicker backplane (may be the bottom cover) is used, so the rear camera module will not protrude, and the iPhone 14 lens, LED flash, and lidar scanner can be combined with the back cover. The glass panel is flush;
3. The body or middle frame is changed to a titanium alloy frame, and the volume button is changed to a circular design, which inevitably makes people think of iPhone 4;
4. Major changes to the speaker and microphone holes, using a slender mesh cutout instead of a solitary small hole at the bottom of the phone;
5. Some models of iPhone 14 will still use the Lightning interface.
Prosser said that although the device may be released in September 2022, considering that certain aspects of the iPhone 14’s design dimensions may undergo major changes, there may be some changes in mass production, but he believes that the final version will be in the overall The design will remain basically unchanged.

He also said that he just got the image of the "iPhone 14 Pro Max", but he didn't understand the technology behind these design changes. The renderings he gave show a variety of color schemes, but these colors are only made for rendering, so they are for reference only.
Prior to this, Prosser had also predicted Apple’s new products. For example, in May 2010, Jon Prosser predicted that Apple would release Apple Glasses in the fourth quarter of 2020 or the first quarter of 2021, with a starting price of US$499. Judging from the current sources, his forecast may be wrong.
However, in recent years, the iPhone has indeed been advancing the iPhone in a major revision in 2 to 3 years. For example, from the iPhone X, Xs to the iPhone 11 series, Apple has used almost the same appearance design. Improve the capabilities of imaging systems and computational photography. When it comes to iPhone 12 and the new iPhone that will be released next week, it has turned to a flat design.
As the old saying goes, in the eyes of mass consumers, the change in appearance is the biggest change in the iPhone, and it is also the biggest guarantee for Apple's soaring fiscal season.
