Significant Progress! Pangang Group Achieves Industrial Preparation Of 0.1 mm Thick Wide Titanium Alloy Foil

Recently, the national key research and development plan project "Titanium alloy Foil compound melting and No forging straight rolling Short Process Preparation Technology" undertaken by titanium Metal Technology Research Institute has made great progress. Relying on the B750-20 roll narrow titanium strip rolling mill independently designed and developed by Pangang Hongjian Company, the precision rolling of special Ti10-PG titanium alloy foil with a width of 500 mm and a thickness of 0.1 mm has been successfully realized.

In view of the problems in the early rolling production process, the project team formulated a detailed optimization process plan, and successfully produced Ti10-PG titanium alloy foil with excellent surface quality and high dimensional accuracy, which indicates that Pangang has the independent production capacity of titanium alloy foil for hydrogen fuel cell plates, and has laid a solid foundation for Pangang titanium products to enter the field of new energy.
