Recently, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) officially released the "Titanium and titanium alloys—Strip for Welded tube-Technical delivery conditions" (ISO 21334-2022), an international standard in the field of titanium led by Baotai Group.This is the first international ISO standard for titanium processing materials led by China, and it is also another important achievement achieved by the company in the internationalization of standards in the titanium field after the official release and implementation of the first ISO standard "Titanium and Titanium alloys—Designation system" (ISO 23515-2022) led by Baotai in April this year.

                        The ISO 21334-2022 international standard was first proposed in 2015, and the project was successfully established in 2017. It was drafted by ISO/TC79/SC11/WG5 (the fifth working group of the Technical Committee of the 11th Branch of the Light Metals and Their Alloys Technical Committee of the International Organization for Standardization).Participants include 12 major standardization institutions, titanium R&D and production units and scientific research institutes in 5 countries around the world.After the start of the project, it lasted for 6 years. After nearly 100 supporting tests, more than 20 rounds of conference discussions and multiple rounds of rigorous technical reviews, the draft standard was recognized by experts from various countries and finally released and implemented by the International Standardization Committee in October 2022.

The successful release of this international standard has strengthened our country's ability to take the lead in the formulation of international standards, and provided scientific guidance for promoting the company's continuous breakthroughs in international standardization work and improving its voice and influence in international standardization work.
