Titanium Rolling Tube

What are the basic processes of titanium rolling tube production?  

(1) Blank preparation.  It includes storage, inspection and surface cleaning, cutting and cold centering.  

(2) tube failure heating.  It is heated in the heating furnace and sent to the perforation process after it comes out of the oven.  

(3) Nuohole: the solid tube blank is made into hollow wool tube. The uniformity of the inner and outer surface quality and wall thickness of the wool tube will affect the quality of the finished product.  

(4) pipe mill.  The perforated wool tube is thinned to achieve the required thermal size and uniformity of the finished product.  This is the main extension process of pipe making, and the pipe after this process is called pipe waste.  

(5) sizing and reducing.  Sizing is the final finishing rolling process of the wool tube to obtain the thermal dimension and precision of the outer diameter required by the finished pipe.  Reducing the diameter of the large pipe to the required size and precision, is the final finishing process.  

(6) Finishing, checking and packing the warehouse.

Which kinds of titanium pipe processing methods?  

Titanium pipe can be divided into seamless pipe and welded pipe two categories, progress can be divided into hot extrusion pipe, hot titanium rolling tube, cold titanium rolling tube, welded pipe and welded rolled pipe.  

Thick wall titanium tubes can be produced by hot extrusion or hot cross rolling (two - or three-high through mill).  Thin wall seamless titanium tube (small diameter) needs to be cold rolled or drawn.  Some titanium alloys in cold rolling plasticity is low, easy to cause cracking, in order to improve the rolling ability of titanium alloy tube, can use warm rolling.
