Titanium has a lower density which is about 60% of steel, 50% of copper, 1.7 times of aluminum, but almost the same strength as ordinary steel, building made by titanium can reduce the weight by 70%~75%, easy to lift, and can make the center of gravity of the building down, improve the overall seismic capacity of the building.
Good corrosion resistance
Titanium has good corrosion resistance: it can resist urban pollution, industrial radiation and extreme erosion,so it is suitable used in the marine climate environment.
Low coefficient of thermal expansion
Compared with other metal building materials, the coefficient of thermal expansion of titanium is about 50% of stainless steel, 30% of aluminum, which close to glass, brick, cement and stone, and can be designed to highlight the characteristics of titanium and glass.
Good machining ability and welding performance
Titanium is easy to process into thin plates, with good welding performance.Titanium itself has a shiny silvery white luster, after processing which can get a brighter surface.Through etching, anodizing,different patterns and colors can be made to achieve a more beautiful decorative effect,and according to the need, the roof can be made into a variety of shapes with different colors, the one looks like perfect artwork.
