Recently, the new 250KN rail operator of the 10,000-ton free forging press in the forging plant was successfully tested and officially put into use.At this point, the 10,000-ton free forging press has realized the linkage production of dual-operating machines, which will effectively shorten labor time and improve production efficiency.

In recent years, the domestic titanium industry market has continued to improve, the number of forging plant contracts has increased sharply, and the high equipment utilization rate has led to an increase in equipment thermal downtime.Li Wei, deputy director of the forging plant, introduced that the previous 10,000-ton free forging press used the 10,000-ton fast forging unit + single-operation forging production model. Although the forging capacity ranks at the world's leading level in the titanium industry, it is limited by stand-alone operation. Only one end can be forged and then the other end can be forged. Due to the U-turn problem, the blank temperature, temperature field and stress-strain field differ greatly, which can easily cause uneven organization during the forging process and affect the forging quality.Therefore, it is necessary to add a new operator.
As early as 2019, with the support of the company, the forging plant set up an equipment project team and began to plan and prepare for this project.After project demonstration and bidding, it was finally determined to adopt the rail operator produced by the German GLAMA company.At the beginning of 2020, the new crown pneumonia epidemic broke out, and the country and even the world were affected to varying degrees. The members of the project team overcame the adverse effects of the epidemic and finalized the design plan after dozens of technical communications with the designers of the German GLAMA company.With the coordination and help of the company's Ministry of Foreign Trade, large-scale equipment successfully arrived at domestic ports by sea.Affected by the epidemic, the procurement of electrical and hydraulic originals of equipment and parts of existing operating machines is lagging behind as a whole. In order to ensure the construction period, in the absence of on-site guidance from a foreign party, according to the equipment design requirements, the equipment team of the forging plant cooperates with the equipment department, the mechanical and electrical maintenance center, the infrastructure engineering department and other departments to take the initiative to abandon holidays and rest periods, select the cooling system water pumps and valves, and rationally arrange the cooling water pipelines; avoid the existing pipelines of the compressor, lay bridges, cables, and install power distribution cabinets; on the basis of the original, according to the actual situation, the track, cover, basic support, etc. were adaptively transformed to overcome There are many technical bottlenecks, and efforts have been made to minimize the impact of the epidemic.After several months of continuous fighting, in April 2022, the project completed all the preparations before the commissioning of the equipment within the specified time node.
In June this year, GLAMA's foreign staff arrived at the scene, and the rail operator entered the final commissioning stage.Due to the long service life of the existing operating machine and mechanical wear and tear, the commissioning work has ushered in new challenges.The equipment personnel of the forging plant and the foreign staff work together to upgrade the control system of the existing operating machine, and to modify some of the servo valves of the hydraulic system to adapt to the production rhythm of the new operating machine.After consulting data, technical demonstration and repeated testing, the consistency of the dual-operating machine of the 10,000-ton free forging press finally reached the production requirements.After three years, in mid-July, the new 250KN operator was successfully tested and officially put into use.

It is reported that the new rail operator is an equipment belonging to a national key investment project. The equipment has the characteristics of compact structure, advanced control system and high action accuracy. It is one of the most advanced operators in the world.The smooth commissioning and use of the new operating machine can not only improve the stability and utilization rate of the equipment, but also avoid the u-turn and tempering steps of the blank, which will greatly improve the forging efficiency and product stability and yield, so that the equipment capacity and product stability of the forging plant have reached a new level.
