Nickel plate to US grade: N4 nickel plate, N6 correspond to ASME II Ni201 and Ni200, namely low carbon pure nickel and ordinary pure nickel (i.e. N4, Ni201, N6, Ni200).  

Nickel sheet implementation standard: N4/N6 pure nickel belt production implementation standard GB/T2072-2007  

N4 Nickel plate state (vickers hardness) : hard (Y), semi-hard (Y2), 1,4 hard (Y4), soft (M).  

Nickel sheet specifications: broadband: 2~330mm thickness: 0.05~1mm length: >=3000mm  

Nickel strip packaging, marking, transportation and storage according to GB88888.  

Purity of nickel strip: 99.95% or more  

 N4 nickel plate characteristics: good gloss, ductility, weldability  

The difference between N4 and N6 pure nickel belt: the difference between N4 and N6 lies in the content of C, that is, low carbon pure nickel and ordinary pure nickel respectively  

 N4 and N6 correspond to Ni201 and Ni200 in ASME II, namely low carbon pure nickel and ordinary pure nickel  (i.e. N4 /Ni201, N6/Ni200)  

 N4 interchange Ni % = 99.9%, C % = 0.01% Max,  

 N6 Ni % = C % = 99.5% - 99.6% 0.10% Max  

 Corrosion resistance of pure nickel  

 Pure nickel is particularly resistant to alkali corrosion and is more stable in high temperature or molten alkali, so it is mainly used in the alkali industry.  Nickel is extremely stable at room temperature in seawater and salt solutions and in organic media such as fatty acids, phenols, alcohols, etc.  It is not resistant to inorganic acid corrosion and is unstable in acetic acid and formic acid.  

two  According to GB2054-2005, the difference between N4 and N6 lies in:  

1, chemical composition, n4C content is less than 0.02%, N6C content is less than 0.15%, the content of other elements is the same;  

2, mechanical properties, in the M state, N4 Rm≥350MPa, N6 Rm≥380MPa  

 Note: As shown above, N4 and N6 are mainly different in C content. N4 is called low carbon pure nickel, and other elements have the same content. Due to the low carbon nature of N4, it is suitable for use in some specific circumstances, so it is better to communicate with customers about the use environment or purpose, so as to avoid unnecessary trouble.  

 Pure nickel sheet: more than 99.95% nickel, pure nickel has excellent mechanical properties and in a variety of different environments  

 High corrosion resistance, magnetostrictive and magnetic properties, high heat transfer, high conductivity, low gas volume and low vapor pressure, etc.  Good spot welding performance, high tensile tension, easy to operate.  Low resistivity (notebook battery combination preferred) can pass more than 50A current, is the preferred combination of power battery this product is mainly used for manufacturing nickel metal hydride batteries, lithium batteries, combined batteries and power tools, communication information, special lights and other industries.
