Electrolytic cell
Oct 10, 2022
The titanium electrolytic cell is composed of a tank, an anode and a cathode, which are separated by a diaphragm in most cases. According to the different electrolyte, it can be divided into three types: aqueous titanium electrolytic cell, molten salt titanium electrolytic cell and non-aqueous titanium electrolytic cell. When direct current passes through the titanium electrolyzer, oxidation reaction takes place at the interface between anode and solution, and reduction reaction takes place at the interface between cathode and solution to make the desired product. It is the key to improve current efficiency, reduce cell voltage and save energy consumption to optimize the structure design of titanium electrolyzer and rationally select electrode and diaphragm materials.
Titanium electrolytic cell, usually TA1, TA2 industrial pure titanium as raw materials, its excellent corrosion resistance, greatly prolongs its life, and compared with stainless steel and aluminum electrolytic cell, titanium electrolytic cell current density, greatly improves the production capacity. Thus reducing the cost of industry.
