Selection principle of titanium material

1)Deformed titanium materials shall be supplied in annealed state (M), and titanium castings shall be supplied in casting state.

2)Pure titanium TA3 in deformation industry is generally not suitable for cylinder,head components due to its poor cold deformation ability, but can only be used for parts without cold deformation or with small cold deformation.  

3)TA9 Titanium-palladium alloy (Ti-0.2Pa) and TA10 titanium-nickel-Molybdenum alloy (Ti-0.8Ni-0.3Mo) are mainly used in high temperature wet chlorine medium and possible gap corrosion (especially TA9 is more resistant to gap corrosion), especially suitable for tube plate, flange and other parts.  

4)Choose more gap corrosion resistant titanium materials, such as titanium palladium alloy (TA9) or titanium nickel molybdenum alloy (TA10), these titanium materials are especially suitable for flange sealing surface with gap corrosion flange.  

5)Titanium materials shall be avoided in a stress-corrosion environment.Where there is a tendency of stress corrosion of the medium,even if the titanium corrosion is slight, there is still stress corrosion rupture risk and can not used.
