The FIM Motocross World Championship

The FIM Motocross World Championship is a motocross race organized by the International Motorcycle Racing Association, currently divided into two different classes for men, namely MXGP (250cc) and MX2 (125cc). The race time is 30 minutes and each race consists of two laps.
The first World Motocross Championship was held in 1957. [1] At that time, the main motorcycles used were 500cc engines. In 1962, the 250cc motorcycle class was added. In 1975, a 125cc motorcycle class was added. In 2003, it was changed to MotocrossGP, 125cc and 650cc. In 2004, it was changed to MX1, MX2, MX3, and Women's MX.
