According to processing technology, different refining methods and technology application, titanium metal frames are divided into many different types;Pure titanium glasses, β titanium and titanium alloy are the three main types,so what are the differences among them?Here is a brief introduction for you.  

Pure titanium

Titanium purity is the most convenient and key way to judge the material of glasses frame. Usually,when the titanium purity reaches more than 99 percent of the titanium metal material can be called pure titanium glasses.The frame made from pure titanium has the advantages of high melting point, light weight, strong corrosion resistance and strong electroplating,so as to ensure the appearance and durability of the two important properties of the frame.  

β titanium

First of all, β titanium is not a titanium alloy.It can be understood as another molecular state of the titanium material.Although the purity of β titanium is not as good as pure titanium,its strength, fatigue resistance and environmental corrosion resistance are even better than pure titanium.Secondly, because the production process of β titanium is higher than that of pure titanium,so generally only big factories and big brands use it to provide products to the customer group with high requirements on the style and weight.

Titanium alloy

The definition of titanium alloy is relatively extensive,in principle, as long as it contains titanium materials can be called titanium alloy.Therefore, the quality and grade of titanium alloy frame are different,and the direct impact on the price of titanium alloy frame is the composition of titanium alloy,which is clearly marked in the introduction of the frame, so that buyers will know the material of frame,such as titanium nickel alloy,titanium aluminum vanadium alloy and so on.Another thing to declare is that the use of titanium alloy for glasses is not to reduce the cost,but to improve the application performance of the material.The current memory frame on the market is made of titanium alloy.
